I have a couple of ZIP files in parts. Today, when I tried to extract one of the files, an error message saying ‘archive file is incomplete’ jumped out. And it has extracted a lot more files than I required. I tried and tried. All other files can be successfully extracted except for the one that I need. Does anyone know why this keeps happening, and is there any troubleshooting tips?

I have no idea what unarchiver you use, but if you cannot extract one specific file, there may be something wrong with the file itself - if the error like archive file is incomplete Mac keeps happening. One of the most common causes can be the loss of a file - you may unintentionally delete the files. But do not worry. There is a way out. You can even recover permanently deleted files with EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard for Mac Pro.
Perform the recovery process like this:
Step 1. Download and open EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard for Mac Pro. Choose where your lost files were stored before and click "Search for lost files."
Step 2. When the scanning is finished, you can view all the files that can be recovered on the interface. You can filter them by the file type and find your lost files.
Step 3. Before the recovery process, you can first preview the selected files. Then, click "Recover" to recover files and save the file to another safe location on your Mac.
But if you are one hundred percent sure that your files are not deleted or lost, you can try another unarchiver to open your ZIP files. Or you can uninstall and reinstall the unarchiver and relaunch it. If you don't want to see the same sad scenario repeat itself over and over, you always need to make a backup of your files and constantly work on the copies of your files.
