I have a boot drive SSD, and now I want to clone it to another NVMe SSD to obtain more capacity. But I found that my laptop has only one NVMe SSD slot. What should I do? Is there any simple way?

I have 2 methods for cloning boot drive SSD onto new NVMe SSD with only one NVMe SSD slot.
The first method is very simple, but you need to pay extra money to buy a device - you need a USB to M.2 SSD converter. First of all, you should connect the purchased adapter to your computer through a USB slot, and use high-performance cloning software to clone your boot drive SSD to the new NVMe SSD.
The second method requires you to prepare an external USB hard drive.
