No. File History doesn't only backup the changed files, but all certain files, including Documents, Pictures, Videos, Music, or offline OneDrive files. It just offers some basic backup features that apply to basic backup needs. Only backup of the changed files is called incremental backup, and this tool is not available in File History.

To only backup the changed files, you can rely on a professional backup software called EaseUS Todo Backup. This software provides various backup options, such as incremental and differential backup, scheduled backup, encrypted backup, and more, which means you can choose different tools according to your needs.

Beyond that, you can use this backup software to create backups of the disk, partition, operating system, and files; then, you can save all the backups created to a local drive, external hard drive, NAS, and even the cloud. For more stunning features, you can check below:

  • Allow you to back up your files to the cloud
  • Facilitate backup programs, system settings, and other files
  • Support creating system images, clone, and recovery
  • Generate real-time backup reports for you to track the information
