You can "clone" an HDD into an SSD that runs Windows by creating a disk image.
If you tend to clone the HDD to the SSD that runs Windows, the SSD will be overwritten during the cloning process, and the operating system will be erased. Such an operation will cause critical consequences. Cloning a hard drive is a procedure that creates an identical copy of the original.
