How To Back Up One Synology NAS to Another Synology NAS

I have an OLD Synology (ds210j). I'd like to back up my current one to this old one (which is limited by a DSM upgrade to 5.2 or whatever). What are your recommendations for doing so? I believe I'm currently using hyper back up, but I'm not sure whether there's a better alternative.

Backing up data from one Synology NAS to another is a critical technique for protecting data against potential failures, disasters, or breaches. This procedure entails moving all key files, applications, and settings from one NAS device to another, ensuring that the data is accessible and secure. There are various methods for backing up one Synology NAS to another, including Hyper Backup, Cloud Sync, and Snapshot Replication. However, using a third-party backup tool such as EaseUS Todo Backup is the simplest and most efficient option.

EaseUS Todo Backup is a powerful and dependable backup program that allows users to easily back up their data from one Synology NAS to another. The software has a simple and intuitive interface that streamlines the backup procedure for both novice and experienced users.

Users must first download and install the EaseUS Todo Backup software on both Synology NAS machines in order to begin the backup process. Following installation, users can create a backup task and choose the source and destination Synology NAS. After that, users can modify backup parameters such as backup type, compression level, encryption, and schedule.

EaseUS Todo Backup supports several backup types such as full backup, incremental backup, and differential backup. Users can choose the type of backup that best meets their needs and preferences. Furthermore, the software allows users to compress and encrypt backup files in order to minimize their size and increase their security.

Finally, backing up one Synology NAS to another is critical for preserving data against any losses and breaches. While there are various techniques for backing up Synology NAS equipment, utilizing a third-party backup tool such as EaseUS Todo Backup is the most straightforward and efficient. This software has an easy-to-use interface, supports multiple backup methods, and allows users to compress and encrypt backup data.
