There are two ways to help you do this.

Windows XP actually provides a backup program that can support you to back up the hard drives with software installed and restore them to another device. However, you cannot find this backup program on your computer. It is not even a system component and will not be provided by the Windows XP installer. To obtain this program, you must have a Windows XP CD and install it manually.

The specific steps are as follows:

  • Step 1. Insert your Windows XP CD into your computer, and exit it.
  • Step 2. Select My Computer, right-click the CD-ROM, and choose the Explore option.
  • Step 3. Open the VALUEADD> MSFT> NTBACKUP folder, and you can see the NTBACKUP.MSI file.
  • Step 4. Hit the file icon and start installing the Windows XP backup program.

After installing the backup program, you need to follow the following steps: backup installed software on Windows XP.

  • Step 1. Run this program and choose the drive you want to back up.
  • Step 2. Set the store path you want.
  • Step 3. Wait for the process to end.

The other method is to use third-party software for backup. You can choose EaseUS Todo Backup as your helper.

It is an excellent offline software that can support multiple backup operations, including system, file, App data, and disk, and can complete data recovery in a short time.
