How to Change Boot Drive After Clone

Hi, everyone, I got a new SSD, and I'm going to clone the hard drive I currently use to this new SSD. However, I am concerned with the fact that seemingly I am not able to change which drive the PC boots from after cloning. Do you have any idea?

After hard drive cloning, you can change the boot drive by converting the boot order in BIOS:

  • Open your computer case, and install the cloned hard drive to your PC.
  • Restart your PC, and press the F2/F8/F11 or Del key (according to different types of computer) to enter the BIOS environment.
  • Navigate to the boot section, choose the cloned hard drive as the boot drive in BIOS, and then save the setting.
  • Restart your PC, and now it will boot from the cloned hard drive rather than the previous one.
