Is It OK to Clone a Hard Drive with Bad Sector?

There are 34% bad sectors on the hard drive I use, and it won't work correctly sometimes. I plan to replace it with my new 1TB SSD, but some important data is on the old hard drive. Is it OK to clone a hard drive with bad sectors? Will that affect my new SSD? I'd appreciate it if you could give me some advice.

It is OK to clone a hard drive with bad sectors directly if they are caused by a logical error. On the contrary, if there are physical bad sectors on your hard drive, the only way to clone your hard drive is through a bootable disk in WinPE.

Hard drive with bad sectors is a common issue and is usually caused by physical damage or logical errors. Cloning a hard drive with bad sectors is not recommended as it may affect the data writing and reading on the new hard drive, cause data loss, or even new disk corruption. But if you have no choice but to clone your hard drive with bad sectors, EaseUS Disk Copy is the best solution for you to do so safely and reliably clone your hard drive with bad sectors.
