Is There a Way to Reinstall Windows 10 to an SSD Without Cloning?

I was attempting to clone my OS onto a fresh SSD that I recently purchased. Unfortunately, after cloning, the SSD failed to appear in the BIOS. Therefore, I'm only now looking to transfer the OS from my old HDD to my new SSD without cloning. Is there a way to reinstall Windows 10 to an SSD without cloning?

Yes, you can move your Windows 10 to an SSD without cloning. You can clean install Windows 10 if you do not want to clone your Windows.

Before installing a brand-new copy of Windows, a clean installation will remove everything from the hard drive. Along with assisting you with upgrade troubles, it will let you start over with a fresh installation, speeding up your system and addressing faults.

And you need to create a bootable USB to help you clean install Windows 10 on an SSD. For that, you can use a bootable USB drive creator tool, like EaseUS Todo Backup, to help you.

In addition, it is worth noting that before performing a clean installation, you should create a backup of your computer in case something goes wrong.

EaseUS Todo Backup is a practical backup utility for Windows 7/8/10/11. It can help you create a Windows 10/11 bootable USB and back up systems, disks, partitions, and files. In addition, it can help you clean install Windows 11 and create an iso file of your operating system.

It can help you well if you want to install Windows 10/11 on an SSD without cloning.
